I really like swans, here in Australia we have the black ones, but they are more down south.
One day I'll have a place with a big dam where all sorts of animals can reside.....

My wife always wanted swans on out pond. So we bought a 2 year old pair that had already matched up from a breeder here in NC. They are nice birds, but man are they mean!

Yes they are all ours, we have developed a small farm.

3 Emus
3 Peacocks (need to find another hen for the 2 males)
2 Mute Swans (4 years old now)
12 Goats (6 of which are kids that were born in last month)
16 chickens

beautiful birds. I always wanted swans, but, they were always too expensive. they seem to be down in price now though.

I love your peacocks. I had someone drop off a female peacock a few months ago. I thought about getting her a male, but, heard they are noisy.

They are noisy during mating season, or if something scares them at night. Our free range, and usually roost on top of the small building where our well is.

But they have woke me up in the middle of the night.
