Post Gas in Crankcase
I am getting gas in the crankcase on my 67 Bonneville while it is running, seems to run fine for awhile then when you shut it off and start it again it spurts it out the overflow tube, Whats up with that.

Are you saying that the overflow tube in the CARB is puking gas? If so, it may be a bad float, sticking float, bad needle valve, or a combination of any of these and a bad petcock ( or you are failing to shut the petcock every time the bike is sut off)? What kind of carb is it?

2 carbs amals, and it pukes it out the tube from the crankcase that runs along the rear fender. The oil in the reservoir is diluted with gas also.

It does sound like a VERY bad petcock ( or you are not shutting it off every time you shut the bike off ), combined with bad needle valve ,seat, or float problems. The gas is getting past the petcock and the needle valve and filling the crankcase.

I will try new petcocks, maybe remove fuel lines from them first to see if they are leaking when closed, thanks. Then go from there with carbs.

You may also want to check the float level
